Donald Trump approval rating up: 50 percent say they think president doing a good job – Donald Trump Sucks

A new poll shows President Donald Trump’s approval rating reaching 50 percent, its highest-level since mid-March.

The Rasmussen poll showed 50 percent of likely voters approve of the job the president doing, the same percentage of those who said they don’t. The latest figures include 32 percent who said they strongly approve of the way Trump is performing vs. 39 percent who strongly disapprove. The numbers mark an improvement for a president who has weathered historically low approval ratings.

At the start of April, 42 percent of likely voters in the Rasmussen poll said they approved of the job the president was doing; 58 percent disapproved.

The higher approval ratings aren’t seen across the polling landscape, however. The Marist poll has Trump’s approval rating at 39 percent; CBS News at 43 percent; FiveTirtyEight.com pegs the approval rating at just under 42 percent.

Gallup’s latest daily tracking poll puts Trump’s approval rating at 40 percent compared to a disapproval rating of 54 percent. At the start of April, Gallup had Trump’s approval rating at 38 percent, among the lowest numbers of his young presidency.

And while the overall approval ratings are ticking up, another Gallup poll shows Americans are still concerned about Trump.
