President Donald Trump, planning to spend Easter weekend in Palm Beach County, is expected to arrive this afternoon.
The town of Palm Beach, acting on information from the Secret Service, began road closures Thursday morning that will last through Sunday evening.
The town is prohibiting travel on South Ocean Boulevard, from the intersection of South County Road to Southern Boulevard. The restrictions extend eastward to the Atlantic Ocean.
The town said the fastest way to exit the town is County Road to Royal Palm Way.
Temporary flight restrictions also are resuming in the area near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate through Sunday.
It’ll be Trump’s seventh visit to Palm Beach since his inauguration. His last visit came last week, when he hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mar-a-Lago, his oceanfront estate.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
